EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS

In the emotionally charged world of family law, having a reliable and compassionate support system behind the scenes is just as important as what happens in the courtroom. That’s where our husband-and-wife paralegal team shines. Together, they bring structure, calm, and unwavering dedication to every case that comes through the door.

With years of experience managing complex family law matters—from custody disputes and divorce proceedings to support modifications and discovery - this duo ensures that every detail is accounted for. Their day-to-day responsibilities include case management, adhering to critical deadlines, preparing and organizing discovery, preparing pleadings, and handling e-filing with speed and accuracy. They work hand-in-hand to make sure the attorneys are less stressed and more focused on advocating for their clients.

Family law can be emotionally intense—for clients and legal teams alike. But with this dedicated pair managing the workflow behind the scenes, the attorneys can rely on a system that is organized, efficient, and grounded in empathy.

WHY CHOOSE A BOARD CERTIFIED PARALEGAL?

In 2019 Cathy became a Board Certified Family Law Paralegal by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and in 2022 she became dual-certified when she passed the exam to become a Board Certified Civil Trial Law Paralegal making her one of less than twenty dual-certified paralegals in Texas.

The Texas Board of Legal Specialization extended to the paralegal profession in 1994 when they became the first state-associated program in the nation to certify paralegals in specialized areas of law. The application process and testing are voluntary and extensive.

These certifications distinguish Cathy as a paralegal with the highest professional commitment to excellence in Family Law and Civil Trial Law allowing her to represent herself as a Specialist in those areas. There are thousands of paralegals in Texas and approximately four hundred are Board Certified with fewer than twenty holding two certifications.

ABOUT CATHY FRASIER

Cathy Frasier is a highly respected Board Certified Paralegal—specializing in both Family Law and Civil Trial Law—through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS). This distinction is a mark of exceptional expertise and commitment. There are only a handful of dual certified paralegals in the State of Texas.

With nearly two decades of legal experience, Cathy began her career supporting two attorneys before starting her business. Her decision to begin Frasier Legal Services was driven by her passion for providing flexible, high-quality support to law firms across Texas.

Cathy consistently receives praise for her meticulous attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and comprehensive command of case progression—from intake to final orders. Her friendly demeanor, versatility, and unwavering dedication make her an invaluable asset to attorneys in need of reliable, strategic support.

Cathy is a firm believer in the power of lifelong learning. Alongside her dual TBLS certifications, she is an active member of the Texas Association of Family Law Specialists (TAFLS)—a prestigious body representing board-certified professionals—and the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, underlining her commitment to professional excellence and community engagement.

Away from the desk, Cathy enjoys cooking, fishing with her husband, and making cherished memories with her family.

ABOUT WES FRASIER

Wes spent 22 years working as a land surveyor before making a major career shift. As Cathy was building Frasier Legal Services, Wes would spend his evenings learning how to draft legal documents and expanding his understanding of legal procedures. The pandemic provided him with more time at home which he used to deepen his paralegal knowledge. In March 2021, he made the leap and transitioned full-time into the legal field as a paralegal.

Today, Wes plays a key role in the day-to-day operations at Frasier Legal, handling tasks such as e-filing and managing discovery. His attention to detail ensures that discovery documents are properly formatted, organized and bookmarked with a comprehensive production log. His other tasks include inventory and appraisements, tracing of commingled funds and assisting in discovery deficiency—making him an invaluable asset to the team.

In August 2025, Wes became a member of the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, marking an important milestone in his legal career with aspirations of becoming a Board Certified Paralegal.
